What's This About?
Jonathan is a 19 year old full time student born and raised in Montreal. He’s currently a full-time graphic & web design student at John Abbott College, and as of recently, a “full time” athlete.
Living in the small town of Montreal-West, Jonathan has grown to know a lot of people. He’s worked at the Children’s Library, refereed and coached soccer with the CRA for many years now and has been a part of the Mo-West Scout group since he was six, always eager to lend a helping hand or, of course, go camping!
Since last year, Jonathan has raced many triathlons across Quebec. Without even knowing it, he qualified at a race for a spot with Team Canada's Age Group team at the 2019 World Triathlon Finals in Lausanne August 31st. He is going to train in Switzerland for the three weeks leading up to his race, staying with his aunt who lives in the alps!

Jonathan is taking his love for photography and cinematography up to Switzerland with him. He will try his best to create short video clips leading up to, and during, the trip. How To Help
Being an amateur athlete with Team Canada is costly. In fact, Jonathan has to pay for everything, including the teams management fee, flights, lodging, bike transport, race registration and more. Jon (Rusty) Wiersma and the Montreal-West Scout group have agreed to help with fundraising.
